Our Idea
Who we are
At CHUBE, we believe that good design and conscious living can coexist beautifully. Founded by Christoph and Bernd in the heart of Germany, our name comes from their initials—connected by the German word und (“and”)— and is pronounced just like cube, a nod to the simplicity and function of our very first product. We create timeless, minimal objects designed for real life— crafted locally with care and with as little impact on the planet as possible.
What we stand for
Each CHUBE piece embodies our philosophy of deliberate purchasing: onlybuy what you need, and when you do, choose something built to last. Our products are made from sustainable materials like PLA, a corn-based, fully recyclable and biodegradable plastic that we 3D print in-house. The result is a collection of everyday essentials with a small footprint and a long life.
Why we’re doing this
Inspired by the nature surrounding the German Alps, our design language is rooted in calm, earthy tones and soft pastels that echo forests, mountains, and misty skies. We pair this with full transparency in sourcing and production, because we believe sustainability should be honest, transparent and not performative. CHUBE is more than a brand—it’s a quiet celebration of thoughtful design, responsible craftsmanship, and the beauty of living lightly.
